Football History of Spain
The Spain national football team (often referred to as La Furia) is the national football team of Spain and is controlled by the Real Federación Española de Fútbol (The Spanish Football Federation).
Spain has an unwanted reputation for underachievement in World Cup tournaments, with their best finish being fourth place in 1950, Spain are often being among the pre-tournament favourites as they undoubtedly have a large array of talented footballers. However Spain have won EURO 2008, their first trophy in 46 years.
